More Than Two Decades of Partnership with CIMIE
For more than two decades, Utien Pack has maintained a close partnership with the China International Meat Industry Exhibition, CIMIE, growing together with China's meat processing industry and continuously introducing packaging technologies designed for increasingly demanding production environments.
At CIMIE 2026, Utien Pack will once again participate as a Vice President Unit of the China Meat Association. This year, we will bring our latest integrated packaging line solutions to demonstrate how modern meat and poultry production can move beyond individual machines toward a more complete and efficient production system.
From Individual Machines to Complete Packaging Lines
Our focus this year is on the full packaging process, from automatic product loading and feeding, to thermoforming and tray sealing packaging, coding and labeling, inspection, and downstream handling.
As large meat and poultry manufacturers continue to increase production capacity and automation, packaging equipment is becoming an increasingly important part of the entire production line. The goal is no longer simply to complete the sealing process, but to create a stable, efficient and traceable packaging system that can support continuous industrial production.
By connecting different stages of the packaging process into one coordinated system, manufacturers can reduce manual handling, improve consistency and create a stronger foundation for future production expansion.
Unifresh® Brings Skin Packaging to the Next Level
One of the key technologies Utien Pack will present at CIMIE 2026 is our thermoforming packaging solution integrated with Unifresh® Vacuum Skin Packaging technology.
Compared with conventional skin packaging, Unifresh® allows products to protrude up to 50 mm above the tray or formed bottom web, providing greater flexibility for thicker and irregular products such as steaks, meat portions, poultry products and other premium fresh foods.
For large meat and poultry processors, this technology provides an effective way to combine attractive product presentation, strong product fixation and industrial scale automated production. It also gives processors greater flexibility to develop different product formats without sacrificing packaging consistency or production efficiency.
The Meat Industry Is Moving Toward Stronger Brands
The meat industry itself is also going through an important transformation.
In the past, the market was often characterized by many smaller producers offering similar products under different brands. Today, stronger manufacturers are increasingly developing multiple product categories under one trusted brand.
This change reflects a wider shift in consumer expectations. Price is still important, but consumers are now paying much closer attention to food safety, product quality, traceability and brand reliability. Trust is becoming one of the most valuable assets for food manufacturers.
As a result, meat processors are investing more carefully in their production facilities, raw material control, hygiene standards and processing equipment.
Higher Consumer Expectations Mean Higher Equipment Standards
Manufacturers that cannot consistently provide safe and reliable products are gradually being rejected by the market, while companies capable of maintaining higher standards are strengthening their position.
This development also creates a much higher level of expectation for packaging machinery manufacturers. A packaging machine is no longer expected to simply form and seal a package. It must operate reliably during long production hours, maintain consistent packaging quality, support food safety requirements and integrate smoothly with other equipment on the line.
For large meat and poultry producers, machine reliability directly affects production efficiency, labor requirements, product quality and ultimately the reputation of the brand.
Safety and Reliability Remain Our Priority
At Utien Pack, safety and reliability have always been fundamental priorities in machine development.
Our commitment to the meat industry also extends beyond manufacturing packaging equipment. In June 2026, Utien Pack was honored to participate as a contributing organization to the China Meat Industry Blue Book, sharing accumulated packaging experience and technical knowledge with the wider industry.
This participation reflects our long term involvement in the meat processing sector and our responsibility to contribute not only through equipment, but also through industry development, technical exchange and standardization.
Supporting the Development of China's Skin Packaging Standard
Utien Pack has also played a leading role in the development of China's national standard for automatic vacuum skin packaging machinery.
The release of this national standard represents an important step toward establishing clearer technical requirements for skin packaging equipment and promoting more standardized and reliable development across the industry.
For Utien Pack, participating in industry standards is closely connected to what we have been doing for more than 30 years. Experience gained from real customer applications, machine development and long-term production testing is continuously transformed into technologies that can provide processors with safer, more stable and more efficient packaging processes.
Better Solutions Are Proven Through Real Action
Technology development cannot rely on claims alone. It requires continuous investment in engineering, manufacturing, testing, customer applications and cooperation with the industry.
From thermoforming packaging machines and tray sealing systems to vacuum skin packaging technology and complete packaging line integration, Utien Pack continues to focus on solutions that can perform reliably in real production environments.
Our commitment to providing better packaging solutions is therefore not demonstrated by words, but by real actions.
