Utien Pack at interpack China 2026: Thermoforming Packaging Solutions

Utien Pack will exhibit at interpack China 2026, taking place from November 16 to 18 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. At Booth W4E05, visitors can explore three packaging platforms designed to address different requirements for product freshness, retail presentation, production efficiency and factory space.

The exhibition will feature a thermoforming vacuum skin packaging line, a compact thermoforming packaging line and an automatic tray sealing line. Through equipment displays and discussions with our team, food manufacturers can explore packaging solutions suited to their products, production volumes and automation plans.

Three Packaging Platforms for Different Applications

Founded in 1994, Utien Pack specializes in thermoforming, vacuum, modified atmosphere and vacuum skin packaging technologies. Utien Pack’s equipment serves customers in more than 50 countries and regions, supporting a wide range of food packaging applications.

1. Thermoforming Vacuum Skin Packaging Line

For premium steaks, seafood and other fresh products, packaging plays an important role in presenting product shape and texture while keeping the contents securely in place during handling and display.

Utien Pack thermoforming vacuum skin packaging line integrates bottom film forming, vacuum skin sealing and cutting in one machine. The skin film closely follows the product contours, securing the product to the base and creating an attractive presentation with clear visibility.

Our patented Unifresh® technology accommodates products protruding 50 mm above the packaging base, offering greater flexibility for thick meat cuts and seafood with irregular shapes. Matching the product, film and process settings helps achieve close film contact, reliable seals and consistent pack quality.

Utien Pack was the first company in China to achieve a breakthrough in inline vacuum skin packaging technology. We also led the drafting of the national standard for automatic vacuum skin packaging machines in 2025, followed by the approval and publication of an industry standard for food vacuum skin packaging machines in 2026.

According to production requirements, the line can connect with product loading, coding, labeling and inspection equipment. These options reduce manual transfer between processes and support continuous production.

2. Compact Thermoforming Packaging Line

For manufacturers working with limited floor space, the Utien Pack compact thermoforming packaging machine combines a small footprint with a modular structure. It integrates bottom film forming, sealing and cutting, with a dedicated product loading area to provide a complete thermoforming packaging process within a compact layout.

Depending on the application, the machine can be configured for sealing only, vacuum packaging or modified atmosphere packaging. Stable process control supports consistent packaging quality, while convenient maintenance access and quick mold changes help simplify daily operation and product changeovers.

The modular design also allows manufacturers to connect loading, coding, labeling and inspection equipment according to available space and production needs. This provides a practical route to expanding automation as production requirements develop.

Utien Pack contributed to the national standard for continuous thermoforming vacuum and gas flushing packaging machines in 2009. Drawing on this experience, our compact platform helps manufacturers balance packaging performance, floor space and operating requirements.

3. Automatic Tray Sealing Line

The Utien Pack automatic tray sealing line is designed for fresh meat, seafood, cooked foods and ready meals packed in preformed trays. It integrates tray conveying, positioning, sealing and finished pack discharge, with modified atmosphere or vacuum skin packaging available according to product requirements.

By matching the packaging process to the product and tray format, the system supports freshness protection, attractive retail presentation and consistent production output. Automatic tray denesting, filling, coding, labeling and inspection modules can also be integrated to create a more complete packaging line.

For manufacturers handling multiple tray formats, our easy mold change design works with a dedicated mold trolley to simplify mold handling and replacement. Molds can also be preheated on the trolley before installation, reducing preparation time when changing formats.

Configurations are selected according to tray dimensions, product characteristics and target output, helping the packaging line fit the pace of the wider production process.
