October 28–30, 2026 | Qingdao, China | Hall A4, Booth 0718
For Utien Pack, participating in seafood exhibitions is more than an opportunity to present machinery. It represents a long-term commitment to an industry we have worked alongside for more than three decades.
From Qingdao to Singapore and Boston, Utien Pack continues to meet seafood producers, processors, distributors, and industry partners at some of the world’s most important seafood exhibitions. Each market brings different products, production requirements, and consumer expectations, but one challenge remains consistent: seafood packaging demands equipment that can perform reliably in one of the most challenging food-processing environments.
This October, Utien Pack will return to Qingdao for CFSE 2026 – China Fisheries & Seafood Expo, taking place from October 28–30, 2026, at the Red Island International Convention & Exhibition Center.
We warmly welcome our customers, partners, friends, and seafood professionals from around the world to visit Hall A4, Booth 0718, where we will present our latest developments in automated seafood packaging.
Since Utien Pack was founded in 1994, seafood has remained an important application area for our packaging technology.
Over the years, the industry itself has changed significantly. Seafood products have moved far beyond traditional bulk and frozen formats. Fresh fillets, portioned fish, shrimp, shellfish, ready-to-cook seafood, premium cuts, and value added products increasingly require packaging that combines shelf life performance, product protection, attractive presentation, production efficiency, and automation.
Our packaging technology has continued to develop alongside these changes. This commitment is also reflected in where we meet the industry. From Seafood Expo North America in Boston, to Seafood Expo Asia in Singapore, and now again to CFSE in Qingdao, our presence at seafood exhibitions is part of a continuous effort to stay close to producers and understand the challenges they face in different markets.
For us, innovation starts with understanding the production environment in which the machine must operate every day.
Seafood processing presents some of the strictest operating conditions in the food industry. Moisture, salt, low temperatures, continuous cleaning, and demanding production schedules can all create long-term challenges for packaging machinery.
Salt and moisture can accelerate corrosion. Cold and humid environments can affect electrical systems. Frequent washdown places additional requirements on machine construction and component protection. At the same time, seafood producers still expect consistent sealing quality and stable production over long operating periods.
A packaging machine designed for seafood therefore needs more than packaging speed alone.
At Utien Pack, our equipment is engineered with these working conditions in mind. Depending on the application and machine configuration, our solutions incorporate protected electrical components, stainless steel construction, anti-rust treatment, hygienic design, and protection measures for demanding production environments.
These details may not always be the most visible features of a packaging machine, but they become increasingly important after years of operation. For seafood manufacturers, reliability is not only about how a machine performs during a demonstration. It is about whether that machine can continue delivering stable packaging results after years of exposure to the actual processing environment.
That is the standard we continue to work toward.
At CFSE 2026, one of our key focuses will be Unifresh® vacuum skin packaging technology.
Vacuum skin packaging has become increasingly important for premium seafood because the upper film closely follows the contour of the product, creating a clear, three-dimensional presentation while securely holding the seafood in position. Utien Pack has continued to develop this technology across both of our major automated packaging platforms.
Our thermoforming packaging machine with Unifresh® skin packaging integrates tray forming, product loading, skin packaging, sealing, and cutting into a continuous automated process. For manufacturers requiring higher automation and continuous production, the thermoforming platform provides an efficient solution from rollstock material to finished package.
For producers working with premade trays, our automatic tray sealing platform provides another flexible approach to skin packaging. It is designed for applications including fish fillets, seafood portions, shellfish, and other fresh or premium seafood products where packaging presentation and production consistency are critical.
With both platforms available, the objective is not to offer one machine for every customer. It is to identify the packaging platform that best fits the producer’s product, capacity, factory layout, automation requirements, and future development.
As seafood processors increase their production capacity, packaging automation is becoming increasingly important. The requirements today often extend beyond the packaging machine itself.
Product loading, tray handling, printing, labeling, inspection, and downstream operations can increasingly be integrated into one continuous production process. By building automation around thermoforming and tray sealing platforms, seafood manufacturers can reduce manual handling while improving production consistency and line efficiency.
This direction represents an important part of Utien Pack’s continued development. Our goal is not simply to manufacture individual packaging machines. We continue to develop automated packaging solutions around thermoforming and tray sealing platforms, allowing customers to build packaging systems according to their actual production requirements.
For seafood producers, this can mean a solution designed not only around today’s product, but also around future capacity, additional SKUs, new packaging formats, and higher levels of automation.
After meeting seafood professionals across different regions and markets, we are pleased to return once again to Qingdao. CFSE brings together seafood producers, processors, buyers, technology providers, and industry specialists from around the world, making it an important opportunity to exchange ideas about the future of seafood processing and packaging.
At Hall A4, Booth 0718, our team looks forward to discussing your products, packaging challenges, production requirements, and future automation plans. Whether you are exploring vacuum skin packaging for premium seafood, looking for an automatic tray sealing solution, developing a thermoforming packaging line, or considering the next stage of packaging automation, we welcome the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.
